Maya / House

HouseMaya was really hard to get used to it! Blender feels more intuitive to me. But since people are creatures of habit, I've gotten a bit more used to it over time. Following up from last time, I made a different style of house this week. There are still some parts that need fixing, but for now, I'm pretty happy with it.

House ModelingI wanted to make a perfect house model, but while I was working on it, some parts of the UV map got twisted and I can't fix them. I've remade it almost six times last weeks, and I still don't like it. When will the day come that I'm finally satisfied with the model I made.

1st Portfolio layoutTo be honest, I don't think I needed to create this layout at this stage, but I worked on it carefully for three days because I just want to prepare everything when I've got enough. The biggest challenge was making the chrome text. First, I tried using Blender, but I couldn't import it into photoshop. Then, I swithced to photoshop, but it still didn't turn out the way I wante..

SpiderYesterday, I used a cube to create it, but today, I used a plane. Mask_Midway PointI am creating it using the extrusion modeling method

SpiderI've tried making this spider by myself, but it took 5 times to reach this step. The first time, I couldn't really understand how to use the loop cut and create shapes, and it was difficult. Today, I've started to understand it, but there's still a lot to modify. CookiesI learned about brushes, materials, and new skills.I tried to fix the size and shape of the marshmallow's muffler, but somethins was off, and I couldn't get it perfect.However, I really liked the texture of the marshmallow - it looks so realistic!

Donut TextureI've started to understand how to create textures and this is my first texture that I made with tutorial video. Donuts ModelingIt took me nearly 10 attempts to make these donuts. I kept failing at each step, and the sequence always got mixed up. I didn't know how to fix the issues. The good thing, though, is that with all the repetition, I'm getting more comfortable using the tools...

뷰포인트 바꿔도 오브젝트 색이 뚜렷하지 않을 때이것저것 누르다가 갑자기 오브젝트이 흐려졌고  뷰포인트가 솔리드 상태인데도 색이 뚜렷하게 돌아오지 않음오브젝트 눌러서 활성화하고 Alt + Z 키(X-ray 모드) 누르면 해결 가능

Bevel 컷이 제대로 작동 안 될 때 Edit Mode에서 아무리 Bevel을 쓰려고 해도 컷이 제대로 안 들어가는 문제가 생김1. Object Mode로 들어가서 Ctrl + A 누르고 Scale 누른 다음에 다시 Edit Mode로 들어가서 Bevel 키 누르면 해결 가능2. Object Mode에서 N 누르면 Scale이 뜨는데 비율이 1:1:1이 아니면 작동이 안 될 수도 있음.
